My son and I cut down a big White Birch for a friend at church. It was a such a big tree for the MD area we hated to see it go, but it was loaded with Bronze Borers. It was about 24" up to about 6', where it had three big branches coming out at right angles that covered the whole front yard. I got 2 nice logs cut at 5'. I cut them kinda short so they would roll into my dump trailer, it's only 62" wide. I'll get some pics in the morning, I'm too pooped to move. I still have to go back and grind out the stump, and I haven't had my stump grinder running for close to a year, so I know I'm gonna have to tinker with it after church, Joe.

I had to go back outside so I snapped one quick shot, this is a big White Birch for these parts of town, Joe.

I'm not sure when I'll get to milling them. My 1050 is acting up, and we're going on vacation next week, so I don't think I'll be getting to it soon. I'll post pics when I do, Joe.
