I was invited to a christmas party and by the end of the evening I ended up trimming the home owners tree in the back yard. Not bad makeing some money.

tried to but none of the customers wanted me there buzzin around on christmas...my wife to a shift at the hospital christ eve, christ, and boxing day so I was all about makin a raquet but nobody else was so keen about it... back at 'er tommorow...kind of a nice break to do some res jobs instead of bush work...people bring you coffee, sangies, after work beer...even got a christmas present...Mind you the jobs i've been doing have been down and dirties...once i get to hauling brush i start thinking about getting back into the woods..

thats the only bad thing about christmas, no one wants to hear chainsaws or get handed a bill.
Even though I went to my girlfriends, her mom didn't mind me doing some nipping with the pruners. It sort of shows how good we have it being able to use power tools that are light weight and easy to handle.
So what did you get for christmas?
I got a box of work gloves a T-shirt, and a new loggers helmet.

I had to work. Though I work at a Prison. I did get a Stihl Cant Hook and a Stihl Forestry helmet for Christmas.

Around here if you tried to start a chainsaw on Christmas you'd be running from a shotgun and a pack of homeowners screaming "Shut the **** up!".

Not that i wanted to work.. Been working all year now it is time for a well deserved break for myself and my father, we resume on the 21st-22nd unless an emergency job comes in. :deadhorse:
