Campana told the Wellesley Natural Resources Commission that he hasn’t been able to sleep since the trees were cut at the Boulder Brook Reservation.

Sounds like some mental anguish right there. :dizzy:

"
Apparently when they cut some they got hung up in other trees and they cut them down and it was like a domino effect," Campana said.

I'm far from a professional, but how exactly does that happen? At what point does one stop and say "maybe we should stop?"

Wow, what were they thinking? I have to go to court this week as a witness for the defendant that had his trees cut illegally by his neighbor. His neighbor had a tree in the back yard taken down, and who ever did it topped two trees in the defendants property. Some folks just don't understand boundrys

"It all my fault" Next time Bob... landscapers for lawn... tree service for trees. Got it?

I call BS on the whole story. Even the dumbest landscraper wouldn't be THAT stupid.

The HO wanted the trees gone, and has a plausible excuse.

Guy says he hasn't been able to sleep since, boy, he must be tired. Lol.

:agree2: Yeah, the property manager, the owner, the tree company. It's a structure to deny responsibility. Be interesting to see who, if anyone gets called to account. Probably the property manager since he is doing such a good job at displaying his remorse from the outset and I suspect the landscapers will be the innocent dupes in all this and the outcome will probably hurt them the most.

Yea thats alot of hangups , The HO will pay a small fine and enjoy his improved view of the lake or the sunset or the neighbors daughter..

If they don't have anything in writing, you're probably right- they'll be the ones without a seat when the music stops. :chainsawguy:

In my experience, nobody but a surveyor and a lawn applicator knows what an acre is. Probably all the farmers know what acres are when they come in lots of 20 acres or more. Real estate salespeople seem to be clueless, and newspaper reporters are probably not much better.

I can't tell you how many times someone told me the realtor told them they had 1/2 acre when they bought their home. All 12,000 sq.ft. of it.

Since this story sounds like some legal suit over damages, you can bet somebody got out their magnifier looking for each and every stump. The property owner may have hand in hiring the contractor to do more than they should also, but I would be money that no tree service cut down 100 trees of any significance just to take out two.

After all, we do it for the money, right?

:agree2:

No way some one did all that by mistake, that is a lot of work and I bet whoever did it, right or wrong, is mad that they are not getting paid, sounds like a Property Manager trying to cover his 6 at the expense of his hired help
