You all may have wasps but we have a mobile billboard campaign!

Lest you assume that or own DNR idiots paid for this, the small print an the bottom right of the billboard says paid for by the USDA. The truck has Florida license plates and is driving around Wisconsin being paid to waste Diesel fuel for an ad campaign. It was so unbelievably ridiculous I had to take a couple shots of it.

I live in Ma and I've seen those billboards in 4 different states in new england. Unfortunately they use the same people on all the billboards. Have yet to see a mobile one though. Maybe it's a hybrid. I hear those make trees grow faster and help bring back endangered species.

Didn't they try all of this already in MI?

Jury is still out on the predatory wasps.

The public info campaign was a flop and the Citiots are still hauling firewood from Detroit to the U.P. and all over the place.

Too little, too late.

Brown Marmorayed stink bug and spotted wing drosophelia are the latest, and just like with the EAB, the USDA and our MDA is doing little to nothing, and the invasives are still coming into the country...lest we offend Wal-Mart.

Stay safe!

Well, maybe there is a little hope. And since Madison has well over 200,000 Ash trees, that would be a very good thing. I don't need that much firewood.

If the EAB can be stopped before wiping out 1/3 of what they did here, it would be worth double what has been spent so far.

So little has been done, it's really ridiculous.

Stay safe!

Yeah - Our street is lined completely with Ash. My neighbor who I share a driveway with has an ash thats at LEAST 5' DBH and probably 70(?) feet tall (I'm not good at heights but it's twice the hight of our house).

If that thing goes, I'm into a LOT of firewood as they don't burn.
