Hooked this up a few years ago. Pool is at 84 right now. Burning up some punky oak from a clean up job.

RR ties could probably get you to 90F

I am using a stainless steel plate heat exchanger. The little pump circulates the stove and the pool filter pump circulates the pool water. No controls for the fire, natural draft with the ash door open.

No, drop the level a foot and let it freeze. I take the pumps and exchanger inside.

Looks good..i installed this one for a customer this year. Frist time i have ever seen one..i love it..i wanna go off grid at my log house and figure i can make all the hot water i wpuld ever need with on of these

Thats a few minutes after a fresh fill of punky oak. It cleans up after 5 minutes.
