Cut up some excellent firewood yesterday unsure if it's black locust or Osage orange(hedge)
Large rounds were 28 in diameter.
It's well seasoned tree dropped summer of 2012.

Looks like locust to me. Unless the colors are washed out, it's not yellow enough for hedge.

I agree this is some for sure hedge I cut up Monday.

It's like bark is the same except locust bark is thicker and has that clover shape to the wood

Black locust...the lobes give it away

Sure is, I burned it all day in the workshop. Nice long, steady burn and lots of heat!
