i have bought several 24" .050 loops from Baileys and both the WoodsmanPro X series and Oregon LGX seem to be pretty good. i did have a chain break on me the other day, a WoodsmanPro i believe it was, but i have also had Oregon chains break so it works both ways. the only real complaint that I have it that the rakers are too high on the chains right out of the box, but a flat file fixes that problem.

Both chains have parts made in Blounts' Guelph, Ontario plant. The Oregon chain is assembled in Ontario and the WoodsmanPRO X series chain is assembled in Milan, Tennessee. The only difference between the two is the shape of the tie straps, otherwise the cutters are from the same set of dies that produce the LG series chains.

That has been the case with the 3 last Oregon 73LP/H42 chains I got - never been into it before.......:censored:

5 - 10 strokes on each raker, to get them normal.....
