I'll bet a NOS still-in-the-box Solo twin would go for three times that amount. I saw a NOS McCulloch Cp125 still in the box for just over $8k once.

Somebody really likes their collector's saws. How does one actually know what's in the box without breaking the factory seal? Has there ever been a time when the wrong saw was packed in to a box?

Somebody really likes their collector's saws. How does one actually know what's in the box without breaking the factory seal? Has there ever been a time when the wrong saw was packed in to a box?

In the unpacking of hundreds of brand new Stihls and Husqvarnas, I've never seen the wrong saw packed in a box but there is a lot of missing items or extras of items. Commonly I'll see missing tool kits or extra tool kits and once in a great while I'll see a missing air filter or sprocket cover.
