Wright Chainsaws

I recently bought a used Wright chainsaw and looked on the internet for information on it but, no luck. Has anyone ever heard of this brand or know anything about them?

Welcome to the A-Site Forum. Wright actually sold chainsaws back in the 60's, but you are probably refering to the reciprocating saw blade model.

This saw has a sabre tooth reciprocating blade and was used generally for green wood applications, such as orchards, where a requirement is to make minimal damage to the living portion of the tree.

However, if you contact Larry, Chainsaw-57, here at A-Site, you will probably get some hands-on info on the saws. Look up Chainsaw-57 on the member list for an e-mail address.

Mike, this is indeed a chainsaw. Original case and owners manual is included in it.

Well, you definitly have a collector's grade saw, based on the condition.
