.....I came in from work the other evening and she was in front of the computer holding this saw.She was trying to explain something in a post on here and needed to see which model her favorite saw was. That is the first pic.I just thought it was funny looking,so I captured it.She stays on this site more than I do,and when I get lucky she'll step out for a cigarette or something and I can re-claim my throne. The second pic is a nasty look she shot me while I was trying to shoo her away from the computer...The third pic is one I took of her hand because I thought it was funny. She cut herself slicing onions with a knife and did not have and band-aids...So she just took a small peice of toilet paper, wrapped it around the cut and sealed it with duct tape...This would have been out of the question a few years ago as she used to be such a priss before I got hold of her.

She quit for about two years, then after the baby quit breast feeding she started again...She doesn't smoke but two or three cigarettes a day though,a pack will last her nearly all week...She smokes Virginia slim ultra lights at that,so her body probably doesn't even know she smokes..She can run two miles in under 14 minutes,so it's obviously not affecting her shape.I don't smoke

I had a picture of her in uniform posing beside my grapple truck with that same saw,and she threatened my life if I posted it...She is a very good shot...I didn't challenge her

Ha ha, I love it!:D

That second picture is the classic 'while browsing arboristsite' pose. I do just the same.
This site has led to my hubby and I having a few discussions about the time spent here too...but today it was 48 degrees with up to 60 knots of breeze, what else is a gal to do but surf the site? Maybe we need a marriage counselling forum:jester:

Big tree tomorrow, subbing for the power company, they can't get to it with their lift. Please send safety prayers to Bermuda...Thanks.

Consider yourself lucky to have a saw-junkie for a wife. Mine would laugh at me if I mentioned her cutting wood with me. Hell she wont even help pack it in.

wife doesnt get a choice--got her a 945 oly--and she can now help cut--she likes the warmth of wood heat--and doesnt complain--we have only about 7 yrs of ash wood stacked up--only needs to be cut and split--guy was going to light it afire--yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF is it with all these womens showing up here all of a sudden?! Amazing!

Honestly, I'm envious - I can't hardly even get my wife to come in the garage, much less join me in using power equipment or performing outdoor work not related to growing veggies. I guess I'll keep trying...

Mine will stack all the wood I can slplit for as long as I can split. Problem is I can't split wood and talk. She ovbiously can do both equally as well. Another problem is I get much more tired swinging that 8lb maul than she does stacking. At least she will stack I guess some of you are not that lucky.

I'm not sure what I would have done in some cases when we first got married. She use to have to help me do it all..I would schedule the jobs I couldn't handle by myself around her days off back when she was working shifts..She used to not even be able to crank a saw,and now she has no problem limbing and bucking logs on her own.She can even determine the best log lengths to work out of a particular tree to keep waste down to a minimum. She's decent at running the ropes on the ground, and she is an excellent skid steer operator. She can also run the grapple on my grapple truck.Due to her wierd time schedule now,she doesn't get to help me much anymore, and when she does it's usually the only time we get together without the kids around,so we kind of cherish it..Due to the nature of what she does, she might pull an eight hour shift that day,get home around three, and have to go out at ten or twelve o' clock that same night and serve a warrant,so about the time I'll be settling down in the bed,she will be strapping up and heading out...I doubt she'll be back before 3 next morning..I guess I'm nearly as lucky as a man can get in the marraige department..She was raised having to work for everything she had,so she thinks nothing of helping me do whatever she can to get a particular job done...Thanks hun'..

BTW she has posted a picture of me in this forum..It's titled "Me and my crew"...She likes to mingle and keep things stirring, and she has practically started writing a book in the "Off the subject forum"...A couple of her stories I even found interesting on these because she had never tole them to me.

Nice pictures and I hope you were ducking after you snapped that second one. Glad that you can find something that you both enjoy.

I didn't mind those pics too much...If he ever over-does it,I've got some pics of him that I know he don't want ya'll to see..I enjoy helping out...It's also a good way to stay in shape.
