Yellow patches on the bark of trees - disease/fungus?

I live in Allen Texas and I have some trees in my yard that have yellow patches as seen in the pictures. Is this a disease, fungus, insects? Will it spread to the other tress? what can I do to protect and save my trees?. Thank you in advance fro your help

Dead bark knocked off by woodpecker exposing dead trunk wood. Nature at work, can't rejuvenate deadwood and woodpeckers are protected.

Thank you. I noticed beetles on some of the tree bark. Anything to get rid of the beetles? is it a good thing? Nature at work? should I leave it all alone

Above are pictures of the trees and bugs on the trees. Any ideas on what might be happening to the trees. should I be worried about the beetles? anything I can do to get rid of them?
