Better end......I don't know about that, but I was happy :)

041 starts and runs, don't see any cracks or breaks
but it only has 130 lbs warm. and it is a Super.
It will be on ebay.....soon.

Here Gary........21" cottonwood..24" bar on muffler modded MS180..:) :)

I've waving the flag for the 180 ever since I got mine. All that for a little better than $200. The engine's all metal. Yes the .050 will pull my 180 down. I put the .043 back on it. Maybe we can do something similiar tomorrow at the GTG with my 180 and 200T.

MS 180 C-BE Chain Saw
14 in. Bar : $229.95 Price Disclaimer
Distributor Suggested Retail Price

MS 200 Chain Saw
14 in. Bar : $599.95 16 in. Bar : $569.95 Price Disclaimer
Distributor Suggested Retail Price

These are the prices I found on my local dealer's website. I love the look and feel of the 200, but will have to go with the 180 due to price. Can't swing the 3X difference in price just yet. :jawdrop: :)

MS180 are $199 MSRP.....$189 on sale.......has been a price drop.
MS200 price, it's hard to say what I paid after the trading.

Not sure I would have ever spent the extra cash for MS200 over the MS180.
but I have made some extra cash parting out and selling saw's for a retired dealer.

I do think the 200 after broken in, will out shine the 180.
180 may end up with a carving bar.......I would like to try.

Don't misunderstand. I would love to have a 200, but will be getting a 180 first. :)

I'm with ya............bought the 180 first. It was running so lean (15,000rpm) is why I changed carb. After changing carb I was able to open muffler.

It now has more power, starts in less pulls when cold, gets to rpm quicker
and still idle's good......all that for less than $20 and a little time. :)

I hope someone takes a 242XP:)

Hmmmmmmmm........if running them 3 together that's really not fair. :)

242XP 42cc.....10.3 lbs.........3.1hp

MS200 35.2cc...8.4lbs..........2.1hp

MS180 31.8cc...8.8lbs..........2.0hp

It was a dig at Brad lol in another thread I was thinking that a stock 242XP would outcut Brads modded MS180!
Maybe not Ultras though! (If it really is a 180 hybrid)
