This CL ad was posted on the 9th, so they might've sold by now. Some nice Stihl saws for a good price???

The ad is still up, but that doesn't mean much. And it's really tempting me, esp if the long bar not showing a name is an official Stihl bar. When I attended a local GTG quite a few years back, the host did some milling on a very large pecan tree using a modded Stihl 084. He said that he paid more the long Stihl bar--special order, around $900.00 for a bar that was at least 72" long, IIRC--than he did for the 084 and the modding.

Damn, I think he messed up on one of his ads - has the same saw listed here: http://greensboro.craigslist.org/for/5557006518.html for $599. I am smelling cheep Chinese copy - anyone else?

The "Sweet" brand name bar got my attention. My research didn't find any Sweet chainsaw bars, but I find a mention of the Sweet brand name on one of the Chinese Products sites offering OPE.

The guys who know Stihl saws could probably point several incorrect things on the "Stihl MS 070."

I don't if this is just my computer, or if it's a software thing with Craig's List, but I think it's worth mentioning.

When I click the box to 'include nearby areas,' my screens "jumps" as though it's refreshing,

but

it doesn't actually refresh to 'include nearby areas' until I click the box marked 'update search.'
