Walmart isn't the native habitat for those things? They can't seem to even nearly GIVE them away. Had a pile of Fiskars junk for $3-5, was still mostly there 2 weeks ago.

Dunno, my brother has one to split kindling and I wasn't impressed. The steel is so soft the edge mushes up just from hitting knots!

Odd, I have had mine a long, long time and see nothing of that. I haven't even sharpened it since new and it stills plits astoundingly even with a few nicks.
