I finally remembered there was a homeowner area.

Today I ripped out a couple of bottlebrush trees and a small magnolia. I have another magnolia I want to get rid of. The trunk is maybe 15 feet from the trunk of a big live oak which is very healthy. The magnolia's trunk is perhaps 10" in diameter. It grows straight up through the live oak and can't fall over if cut.

What's the best way to handle a tree like this? I was thinking I'd just find a way to get through the trunk and then use the tractor to yank the magnolia out where I can cut it up.
