Hi to all , i am new to the forum and this is my first post about my 028 S. It was all good until one day i was going to cut some wood and noted that at WOT the rpm goes to the set max then drop like you let off the throttle/turn off the saw for like 1 sec then again climb up and so like.In the cut the saw cuts well does not lose power and got a ton of torque. Thank you for your help.

It could be a few things but one issue I've seen on 028s is the choke in the air filter. The choke flap is spring loaded and when the carb is sucking at high rpm it pulls the choke shut. Warm up your saw then run it without the filter on and see if it helps. You can pull the spring a little tighter if needed.

I had it to, it was the switch messin around. I changed the metal ground clip and it was fixed
