Not certain. It’s all about getting it hot and burning off hydrocarbons similar to the cat on the 6400

Not sure how much it helped my saw but I added the “WCS universal power port” which is just a universal deflector that you screw into your muffler after cutting a hole in the muffler.
I couldn’t tell large gains.

Maybe someone else will chime in.

Most muffler mods gain about 5%. To many, it’s not worth it, going from 20 seconds down to 19 seconds in a cut

Some mods don't gain much more but if it helps pull some of the heat out it worth it. You always want to retune after muffler mod.
