Hi all,
Thought I'd post here with my question. I have probably a dozen or so dead ash trees. Most are under 12" in diameter and halfway down a ravine. Seeing as how they've been dead for a few years I'm guessing, what do you guys think of trying to pull them over with a long chain? I was thinking about hooking 10' up or so, with a 100' chain. Then hooking on to a 65hp tractor or 35hp dozer.
In the event of a mishap, it's hard to run on the bank of a ravine to escape danger.
Seems like at this point the roots should be somewhat rotten as well.
Thoughts?
