Since we have the Mid Virginia GTG tomorrow, I decided that I needed to expand my saw hauling capacity. I currently have a 5' X 10' trailer with no real sides that would probably hold around 40 - 50 saws. This is what I started with this afternoon:

I decided to add some 2 foot sides to it to double my hauling capacity.

With the sides in place I then added an upper deck that slides in:

I then loaded up the floor of the trailer:

Installed and then loaded the second deck:

Added some more to the back and decided that I had all I probably needed.

Even my wife was impressed with my ingenuity and craftsmanship.

Hey what happens if you hit a bump? Aren't you worried about them getting some air?? Hope you guys have a great time down there tomorrow, be safe.

I'm going to predict that after the first few GTGs you will drastically cut down on the load anyway!

It is AMAZING how much work is involved in cleaning, sharpening, fueling and loading for a GTG and cleaning, unloading and re-storing them afterwards!!!!!:dizzy:

Great job on the trailer tho'.

Mann You better be glad you didnt stop at a gas station and I seen you =] you would have been short a couple of saws hehehe (Joking)

I'm sure your prolly on the way to the GTG but I would reinforce the front corners of that. It looks like your plywood is warped a bit and there is a gap in the front. I would hate to see if fall apart while carring the top row of saws. Great workmanship. Rep on the way.
