Stopped by a local shop and was greeted by these saws going to the "junk" pile after a little bsing with the owner he told me i could have them. They dont really fit my style but they were free.

Glad to see you saved a couple grand olds saws from the scrapper. That Peerless looks to be made by Remington. My guess is it's a Remington PL-4 wearing different clothes. I see it has an Oregon 'universal mount' roller nose bar. We were just discussing these in the Remington thread. I suggest you check that thread out and post a few pics of your Peerless/Remington there. Lots of knowledgeable folks there. The PM700 looks like it needs help, but is reasonably complete. Parts for that one are easy to find. One of my favorite saw models.

That Mac looks like it had something other than fuel in the tank the last time.
as Eccentric said, that Peerless sure looks familiar. Like to see a couple more pics at different angles. Can't beat free saws!

Cool saws and a sweet bar.

There is also a nice bar/restaurant near Maquoketa, Iowa, the Bluff Lake Catfish Farm; you would need to know the area, but its in one of the valleys near a state park, and you would never just trip over it, as its well off the not so beaten path, on the end of a dead end road. All you can eat catfish frys on Friday, of course, is a stand in line and wait most times of their season. Very good food.

Again, nice saws and a sweeet bar.
