Grabbed this one off Ebay within minutes of it being listed. The seller was the original owner and estimates the saw to have around 10 hours of use. This saw is setup to run 3/8", came with a good Carlton A1 chain and the bar measures 36" tip to tip with 30" outside the bucking spikes. Looks like the chain brake handle is a little twisted but everything still works as it should.

How is that P100 Super working out for ya? Did you get what ever it was you were after in Kansas?

The P-100 is great, I like it alot. I did trade the PM-1000 away though, no need for both as far as I was concerned. I think its new owner sounded pleased with it.

No nothing from Kansas that I can remember anyway.

You done well this time for sure with this one.

Nice find. You are really going to like that saw. Don't worry about the chain brake handle - lots of them are kind of crooked. Gives them character.:msp_biggrin:

NICE find!
Model Profile: Power Mac 1000

Nice to see that McCulloch did have air filters figured out in 1976! I think the 10- series saws didn't show it though...... IMHO

That "McCulloch" is a furrin made thing.
BTW, there wasn't anything wrong with the filters, they were made to be replaced after a couple months. I paid ten bucks for four filters for the 797s, the filter for the stihl 075 was close to $25 and didn't last any longer.

My pair of McSwedes.

Both run good but have missing oiler parts. These two are 15 serial numbers apart.

One has a 3/4 wrap and the other is a 7/8 wrap.
