I hang some and i also put a board on top generator and keep some on it.

I remember back when I had my shop in the early 90's, I made a great looking display with a huge log, and I made bore cuts into it in a downward direction, and put the saws on display in them.
I really liked it until the rust started.....
Ah yeah that would have looked sweet!!
 
Use to have some of mine on a shelve and one of the shelves was right above my head as you come in the door. I think from slaming the door over and over they eventually walked out on the edge of the shelve. One day I went into the shop and slamed the door and the next thing a MS260 bout knocked my brains out (bout ruined my hat as you can see the split in front). It did custion the blow enough to not damage the saw so I was alright. Just glad I did not have a 660 up there....I learned if they are on a shelve it needs to be wide and a lip on the edge.

Oh no!!!!!!!im so glad you’re ok!! Can you imaging “man killed by non running chainsaw, first time in recorded history”. You know what, the only time big bucking spikes aren’t cool are when they fall in your head..
