well at that price he's got the WOJO alright

get a 288xp deflecter and do it your self

This is the easiest, and most effective muffler mod I've found with the 372's. It does have a tendency to get the wood a bit toasty on long cuts, but its perfectly in line with the exhaust port. Sounds good too. :)

I cut the old stock deflector off and opened the stock hole the size of the 288 deflector, it would've been easier to put it on the clutch size but it still looks stock this way.

thank for the help guys, but sorry for being a total newb.... can u describe which parts are which?

Search 372 muffler mods there is tons of info and pics with step by step instructions on different ways to do it.

The easiest way is the way Wigglesworth did his. Take the muffler off the saw but leave the bracket on, drill 2 holes through the bracket and muffler, then take the bracket off and use a Dremel or other like tool and cut out the shape like he did on the bracket and muffler, after you're done cutting make sure you get all the metal chips out of the muffler so they don't get in the cylinder, put some type of screen between the muffler and bracket and put it back together and don't forget to retune the carb (H side richer). Enjoy. This whole process takes about a 1/2 hour.

I love the sound of my 372's idling or WOT from a distance.

whats WOT and WOJO?? sorry new to all this... thanks for help with the muffler mod question

WOT= wide open throttle and WOJO is a guy who sold expensive muffler like the on you posted.

Search muffler mods pics.

I laid the one Wigglesworth posted out for you

I am Wojo. Whats up?

Lots of your questions can be found by using "Google." Sometimes the search function on this site is over sensitive. If you use Google typically it will take you to this site with the correct topic narrowed down.

If I can help you in any way, just ask.

so i take it paris all i have to do is make the exit hole biger then weld on a new bigger diameter pipe...any internal work needed? what size pipe is that? thanks again

there shouldn't be any internal work needed, these are just cans. you can get every thing preped and have a local welder do the heat work for you. shouldn't cost more than 10-15 bucks. far better than $125:dizzy: weather it's brazed in or tig welded doesn't matter.

HA HA HAA.

Good luck with that. A welding shop in the states will not even turn their gas on for less than $30 usd. I'm sure the UK is much different, lol. Send it to Broke. Let him take it to a Canadian shop and have him send it back to you. :D

And if you are not planning to put a screen in any holes you open up, do not weld in a big honkin pipe on the top of the muffler. Whats going to keep the junk in the back of your truck from entering the muffler and possibly the cylinder while you haul it to jobs?

 yeah he can send it to me. and i won't charge him $125 to do it if he wants. can do it right here in the bathroom:rolleyes2: even adding a screen wouldn't cost that much.:ices_rofl:
maybe around you (or just you in particular), the welding shops wouldn't do it. however in most cases they won't have a problem with doing a quick job for a local. even if they charged him $50 bucks it would still be cheaper than one of them 'wojo' shelf queen mufflers he could get off ebay.
here's a thought wojo:
why not put up a vid of your muffler at work over a stock and/or even (gasp!) a run of the mill modded muffler? why not put your claims to the test? and post them in an honest manor here where everybody can see?
$125 bucks!:ices_rofl:

That's a fine lookin' muffler mod that has a very stock looking appearance!!!

Did you do the bracket opening(can't see the muffler opening) in a mill or by hand?? If by hand that's some fine craftsmanship as all the opening sides look straight and the radiused corners look the same!!:msp_thumbup:
