Bill, welcome aboard. Do you by chance know if that saw is a relabelled Echo, Dolmar, or who knows? The part might be easier to find if it is also available for a more 'common' saw. http://cresinternet.com/ might be a place to check.,,,,,,,,,,Chris J.

Hi Bill. Echo made that saw for John Deere, I think it matches the Echo 601VL. It has points, Have you checked those?

Maybe a 602VL too after checking Mikes site

That was a Echo 602VL. The last known Echo number for that coil is 153 126 02830. It's been a obsolete number for years but, you might find one somewhere.

Yup its an Echo 602, and the saw in the picture on Mikes site is George Blakes, i can tell that log anywhere. You may find one on ebay, i will look around in my parts list also...Bob

Btw, there is an echo dealer in Plano, Texas that has helped me get an older echo coil before. They have a website, however I don't have it marked on this computer. I think their name is Plano Power Tools and Equipment or some such. You will have to email them about it. You could also try Randy's Engine Repair on Ebay, he also got one for me.

love this chainsaw forum. thanks for the responses. i tried the echo shops in manitoba for the part number 153 126 02830. no more coils available so i guess i'll have to wait on used parts.
