I recently bought a 45 husky , it does not oil right. It oils but oil never reaches chain while cutting. It all leaks down the side eventually down the side. It comes out the right spot. I am stunned. Could the pump not be putting enough out?

Is the oil getting to the bar groove? Bar oil hole could be plugged or misalined with oil port/possible wrong bar if you bought it used.

Did the bar come with the saw from the factory? Have you cleaned the bar good, no debris in the chain groove? Check the oiler hole on the bar, i got a new Oregon a while back and the hole was plugged with a painted in metal shaving. Also make sure the bar is bolting up good and tight no debris on the mounting surface. If it is just a lack of oil the next step is to check the inlet fitting in the oil tank.
