FINALLY got my clutch side crank bearing and center case gasket for my 088. Have been waiting a couple weeks and this morning I had a chance to put it all back together.

Only pic I managed to snap while assembling it.

Ran it to get it hot for about 10 minutes and tomorrow I will put it in wood.

My 026 next to it to show the sheer size of the powerhead of this thing.

I'm sure you used the throttle body carb cleaner to get it running right away:msp_ohmy:

Nope, rebuilt the carb too and it primed right up. Had an issue at first with it under fueling and come to find out the new metering lever has a split end where the diaphragm pushes down on it. I had to put the old lever back in to get it to fuel right with the lever flush with the carb housing. Have it tuned right at 10440rpm out of the cut. Nice four-stroke blurble then it clears right up in the cut.

I couldn't wait till tomorrow to put it in wood :)

Brad, how bad was the 088 you rebuilt?
