Terry, looking for the super bars for my jonsereds and stihls and dolmars. How much are they running in price, 20" up to 28"? 3/8 .050. How much difference in your ported 2172 compared to stock? Love the jonsereds! There is not many dealers in jersey.

You should consider the Jonsered 2166, when it's ported it's the same as the 2172 for less money. I have one of Terry's ported 2166 and it is a wonderful saw with lots of power.
Once you run a ported saw it's hard to go back to a stock saw. A ported saw is just a pleasure to use with a large gain in power. 24" bar should be perfect for the saw
