I've made two H. H. and have had some success with the design. 8' diameter ring set up on concrete blocks. Wood stacked vertically in the center with a pitched cone shaped roof, uncovered. Started one in Nov'08, saw it gradually shrink in height and diameter. Broke it down in Jul'09, "ring" wood dry
, vertical wood damp:bang:. Wondering if vertical wood necessary to keep the ring from caving in, or maybe a change in design. Very efficient way of drying/storing large amounts of wood in a small area...... Any suggestions?:help:
