I have Stihl saws driving Stihl bars.
I'm thinking about getting a few new bars and would like you guys opinions for the highest quality bars.
Thanks in advance.

The ABA and Martindale-Hubbell rate lawyers....

Oh, you are speaking of saw bars (no Hooters jokes either please).

I think that in order to better help you we will need to know the powerheads you will be using as well as the length and type of bar (roller nose, hard nose, etc.) you want.

Tsumura, cannon, gb, stihl, carlton, oregon and forester in that order for me.

I'm looking for a 20in and 25 or 28 in for my 261 and 460.
Currently I have Stihl roller noses so I really don't know the differences.
I only want quality material, craftsmanship, and best oiling.

Stihl is the only saw manufacture company that makes their own bars and chains.
You're always going to get a true fit and super quality...at a reasonable price.
If it works great...why stray..??
You can pay more for sure...but for regular use Stihl bars are a good value...imho.

really, seriously i dont know if it was a fluke or not but the dealer sold me the solid bar for 3 dollars and some change more than the same size laminated bar should have bought 2:clap:

I like Stihl ES bars. I believe they are much better than GB Ti bars.

I've got some new Forester Pro series bars, but haven't run them yet. They were cheap, so I picked up a handful.

Any Total bar that says Jonsered on it wins in my book.
