It should do hard would too. Walnut elm ash is some very hard wood and ur saw should get through it. Id go buy a new chain even a crappy menards oregon and youl se a difference in how the saw performs. I heard a lot of good about efco saws the bad part about them was getting parts took a whileLol it cuts softer wood just fine

Yeah that chain is shot and has been filed with to big of a file. A new chain and your saw will cut just fine![]()

That wasn't my video...and the 355T i had i sold....i replaced the top handle twice and the chain brake and got tired of parts breaking. It was a decent saw but not built for everyday hard use.Whats ur plans with the echo you had on the vid
You see more than I do.. I'll admit to using to big of a file couldn't I just grind down the steel in front of the saw for now to make it more aggressive?Yeah that chain is shot and has been filed with to big of a file. A new chain and your saw will cut just fine
I took a spacer out of my chain brake and it solved many issues with the lever. But havent had a problem with mine yet just hate the ignition advance crapThat wasn't my video...and the 355T i had i sold....i replaced the top handle twice and the chain brake and got tired of parts breaking.
