Awwwww, come on help a feller out I can't help it I spent 22 years cuttin wood and am behind on computer skills I have learned to type on this site.

Go into your post as per usual, then scroll down below the dialog box that you type in, you'll see a button that says manage attachments, click that
That pops up a new window. The top box says "upload a file from your computer" Next to it is a button that says browse, click that to find the picture you want to post on your computer. When you find it, click it, it will go into the box next to the browse button, then a little to the right is a button that says upload, click that and you should be golden.

If that doesn't work for you, let me know where you are getting stuck.

I have done that but it says something about not accepting the file
and it is just pictures of tree work!

I also had some problem uploading files ....I don't understand why... I usually use a free image hosting site to upload my pictures....if you don't know any...try using http://www.2and2.net/ ....I usually use it to upload pictures!!But right now I think that I am having some connections problem and that's why I am not being able to upload!!!

Picture is in your computer.

Type whatever you want in the posting box - look below the posting box.
Click on MANAGE ATTACHMENTS
Click BROWSE, find the pic you want to post and click on it.
Click UPLOAD.
Close the window.
Click SUBMIT
Hope that helps
Ray

If that doesn't work - email me the picture. Maybe it is too large or the wrong format.

I Posted This In Another Forum......

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS
OKAY TRY THIS

1. go back into your post as if your going to edit it.

2. Click on the "mountain range" (hold your mouse over it and it will read"insert image") icon, (ITEM #2 BELOW) in the second row at the top of the edit text box. This is where you put the address (ITEM #3 BELOW)to the picture you upladed from your computer
attachment.php

3. To get that address... right click on the picture name that you uploaded from your computer, (in this case the uploaded picture I had on my computer was named "icon02.bmp".) and this box will appear...
attachment.php

choose the "copy shortcut" this puts the picture address in your clipboard or "temp memory". now go back to item #2 and click the "insert image" icon and when the box appears "paste" the picture address in the box. It will then add the address in the "image" brackets of you post.
If you want to add multiple images with a caption for each one just type your caption before(top) or after(bottom) the image brackets.

You should get the picture address first before you go to the insert image icon.

You were trying to put the picture location from your computer, but you have to upload it first.

Hope this helps.

Buddy you need to use an image hosting site to be able to upload picture on the forum. I use www.2and2.net to upload my pictures. Very often it happens that when the pictures are very bulky the forum does accept them so in this case you need to use an image site which keeps the photographs for you and from which other users can access it. All you have to do is copy the address of the image which will be provided to you by the image hosting site.

great post

No You don't. As the other poster said, you can upload images if they are of the rigth file type and size. If they are too big. Compress the picture for web page use and that usually does it. If you want to have it appear without anyone clicking on the attached image. You can click on the mountain image.

That is when it either needs to be already uploaded to the site or use use an image hosting site.

If anyone is still lost I can post some Screen Shots for you.

Let me know.
