Good afternoon all. It has been awhile since I posted, but life has been in full swing. I did a dumb thing today and broke my case on the clutch side (the part that holds the inside felling spikes). I was wondering if there is a way to repair that? I am willing to hunt down another case if I have to. I have done a full rebuild on this already since I got it with a broken case in the first place. Attached are some picture of my blunder. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

@srcarr52 can tig weld it back on

@huskihl thanks for the quick reply. I saw that you could do that(I didn't know that was possible) shipping might kill me on that. But maybe I can find a local welder that can do that.

I have seen people fixing it with some jb weld. Has anyone had actual success with that?

JB won’t hold.

@huskihl thanks man. That's what I was worried about too. That's why I had to ask.

@L34 do you have a picture? I wanna reference it if I could see if it is something I wanna try or not.

Nope, won’t hold. Either mag weld it or replace. Them’s the only choices

If you can't find anyone to weld it, & with not much to loose... I would make a metal plate that covers the area under the serial number, dirll & tap a couple of holes there & screw everything together with appropriate hardware

Thanks everyone for the input. I am on the hunt for a donor case at the moment. I will take it back to it's original 10mm case style hopefully. It is in a 12mm style case right now because that is what I had at the time. I will keep you posted on what happens.

It would be around $35 plus shipping to fix that. If you tear it down to just the long block you could get it fixed for under $75.
