Wow! A priceless collection of images and info. Is there any source for more history on Sachs-Dolmar? I would love to find similar compilations for Homelite, Pioneer, etc..

Probably. I just ran across this looking for a reference on these saws. In addition to these photos I found that by clicking on the red eye of "111 (87 -) hobby", that it brought up a 16 page PDF of spare parts with schematics. I am printing it now as it should apply to my Makita DCS 520i in most respects.
