The sunburst locus tiny leaves in a rain gutter alone wash right out and make a pile at the down spout.

!! " REMEMBER, I EAT BEAR'S"!! LOLWe had a thornless locust down at my old house. It was a nice tree and those little leaves were really easy to clean up.
I should check the nurseries around here and see what they have. Wish I could do fruit trees but the bears would take care of those.
Fermented mountain ash berries makes for drunk birds, another positive for entertainment!Silver maple produces the larger helicopters that grow easily. Red and Sugar maple produce smaller helis that are much harder to propigate. But they don't grow as fast as the Silver Maple.
Ash is pretty good, but the borer is cleaning those out. However the Mountain Ash is not a target for those guys, and is not a bad tree. But not a fast grower.
Tulip poplar is a good one. Ginko is another.
Glad you don’t live in Australia. Ask some of our Aussie members if they would want a drunk Cassowary around.Fermented mountain ash berries makes for drunk birds, another positive for entertainment!
"The Alaska Life" on facebook shared a video of a drunken bull moose after eating fermented berries. He was stuck between a fence and a building and was more or less passed out against the wall of the building.Glad you don’t live in Australia. You can rule out Catalpa.
My fav tree as well and always has been.Maple is the best IMO. Grow very fast. Colors are great. And when you are ready the maple splits VERY easy, seasons faster than most and creates very respectable amounts of BTU’s.
Leaves are also fast decomposing and contain little acids so they are great for your compost.
My favorite tree in all aspects really
