yes, you did say that, but I'd lost track of which saw was what in this thread! First, put your old carb back on and see if the current rough handling stall problem resurfaces. Put back the right spring in your carb (I believe your other thread shows you changing it). Assemble the carb with NO gasket cement of any type...
Usually when there have been a bunch of changes with no effect, it's important to go back to the base known condition and start over. You probably fixed the carb by replacing your main valve, but in the mean time, you'd been playing with a bunch of stuff that likely wasn't broken.
If it was me, and given the history of these two carbs, I'd just go get another one that hasn't been messed with. Unless you live about 6000 feet, they all should work just fine. The oldest (and most adjustable) is a Zama C1Q-11G. Talk nice to your servicing dealer - maybe he has one you could try.
