028 super

My 028 AV is getting tired and i found a really nice 028 super top end to swap out. Is the 028 and 028 super bottom end the same? Thanks for any info.

I would say probably yes,but I am not positive. If nobody here answers your ? , a still dealer should be able to give you the answer.

To the best of my knowledge they are interchangeable. I've swapped out jugs before, don't quite remember the specifics on donors to recipients though(Supers/AV/WB) It was a while back and I don't have any of those particular saws in my posession.

They both use the same cylinder base gasket, crank etc, so they should bolt right on. The carbs are different, but will likely adjust up.
