028AV WB Oiling Too Much

The 028AV WB doesn't have an adjustable oiler does it? In the time that I've had mine it's always oiled a moderate amount that seemed about right. Well, today after using it I cleaned it up real good and gave it one final crank before putting the saw away in the shed. I noticed that it was oiling like mad! This thing is slinging oil like one crazy son-of-a-gun now. Most of you have worked with saws much longer than I have, so what am I seeing here?

The 028 always oil like crazy, so you probably just got junk cleaned out of the bar hole! If it uses about tank oil (or slightly less) for a tank of gas, it's o.k.

I'm with lakeside, also warmer weather can make a slight difference.
