029 super felling dogs

Hello all , long time reader here . but dont post much ,
I have a question about 029 super dogs, i have read that putting the larger dogs on a saw of this size is alittle over kill but as many have said , it looks cool lol. I ordered ones off eBay that looked good at a good price. Go figure when i receive them they are cheap steel and the first log i stuck them into they bent to the left , can anyone here recommend a set that are of better quality and thicker steel ? I wish i had the tools here to make a set but i dont , any help would be greatly appreciated

Mine did the same thing. I wonder if heat treatment would help. I don't really like them anyway seems like it makes it harder to get a grip than the smaller spikes and they reduced overall useable bar length.

Boy do they look sweet tho.
