I have took apart 2 031av parts saws and both of them had the rubber piece about the size of a penny blow out the side of the oil pump. Does anyone know why this happens. and what is the fix for it. thanks

You will find this on at least 50 percent of the saws you take apart, and any other model that uses this pump. 31, 38, 45, 56. I have seen a small hole drilled in it to release the pressure so it doesn't blow out.
I guess it the pump is wearing and letting a little oil in there which pushes the plug out. Put a little hole in and a LITTLE sealer around the edge and put it back in.
