038 chain sprocket conversion kit

Does any one have a conversion kit for a 038AV stihl saw. What parts does it take to make the change over. I had a friend to send a drum and sprocket all made togeather(038 p/n11191602901a) is this part of the conversion kit?

MY saw has a male drum and the sprocket is a female that fits into the drum. Does any one have a extra sprocket that fit into the drum.

Could not understand why no member replyed. Talked to Jim Baker with stihl Most of you guy's are to young. Never seen the sprocket that works on the 038 The Stihl Dealers on the East Coast Know Jim.

This restored my faith in you guy's. Through you were playing Hard Ball.Have sprocket. Now I an let the saw dust fly.

I bought it thinking it was an 090G sprocket.

Looks just like the one I use on my saw. Now is the back of the sprocket smooth, if so would not work on my saw. let me know.

Jack; I just got to check that my 038 Magnum II doesn't use that style sprocket, and maybe we can work something out. As you can see, it was not cheap! Mike.

My 038 Mag takes a pretty normal looking sprocket. My local Stihl dealer had plenty in stock. I changed it last year when I put on a new bar/chain.
