What does the line that runs into the pump diaphram do on this carb( runs from carb back to saw ). does it goe to crank case to supply a vaccum. I never noticed any thing like this on my other saws.

That is the pulse hose, common on 41, 51, 75. Pulse from crankcase move diaphragm to pump fuel to carb. Still used. Runs btween fuel tank and carb, between case and tank.

32 used them, too. A lot of saws used pulse hoses, many still do. The saws you have probably use the more common pulse hole drilled into the carb's face and mating saw surface.
