What kind of info are you looking for?
From what I've been able to glean, they are problematic, and people bypass them somehow.
Are they needed? Will it hurt anything if I bypass/disable it? How do I go about it?

This might help.

You might want to up grade to a Walbro WS-26. It's the carb that came on the 076 super. I can get part numbers if you want.

They're not problematic per say... Just sucks not letting those beasts run more than ~9000 rpm's...:msp_sneaky:
Pretty sure some of the coils are limited also. Might want to make sure your isn't.
I know the 760 cutoff saws had limited coils, but wasn't aware of the 051 or 075 or 076 having a limited coil... I learn something new about these fat bottomed girls about weekly it seems...
Do you have any parts left over from the rebuild you just completed?
Sure do... What ya need?
That's great. Thanks! I may do that if I need to, but I'd like to see what I can do with the current carb.
Part numbers would definitely be helpful if you have them handy.
good info here for sure, I just picked up a 51av and it neeeds a piston and cylinder, will a 076 cylinder fit?
