Having trouble finding a coil that will work with the old 1122-400-1209 flywheel can anyone help me out?

They can be re broached, its just the timing that is out on the older flywheels when used with the newer universal modules.You will need a limited coil. I am not sure they make them anymore. The 1204 and 1209 flywheels will need those. I would try to find an unlimited flywheel as many coils with a 7" wire will work on that setup. If there was a way to put another key slot in those that was 100% accurate you could use what you have.

Are they for sale cause I’m having a hard time finding a coil that will marry up to a 1209 flywheel

Poly wheel won't fit ally crank.
You can run the common 1300 coil with no key in wheel to get timing right.
Here I'd an 064 with common coil and no key.
This is with piston AT TDC.
