carb cleaner and WD-40
Pulled the decompressor off today, looked ok, seemed to click off and on fine, no gross amount of carbon. Also the spark plug was quite new and clean.
So I gave it a shot of carb cleaner and a shot of WD-40, put it back in.... Just Like new!
Still if you yank on it timidly it'l try to wrap you arm back around the fly wheel elasto start or not. Don't know if this is a problem or just a charachteristic , but the saw is certainly managable now without keeping my thumb held on the decompressor.
As long as the saw is not cold or realy warm it seems just as easy to start without the decompressor.
