And the owner needs a good shot of King Louis.

075 sparkplug boot just came off in my hands, wire corroded through. Need some suggestions on repair/replace.

Throttle plate stays half open unless I pull the trigger out and hold it.
....There is a spring on the shaft from the carb to throttle linkage, however, it seems there should be some tangs/wings on the spring that cause it to keep tension on the linkage. Right now the spring just looks like a coil, doesn't appear to do anything. Second photohas the spring detail pretty clear, it's the brown one.

Looked at an IPL and it appears to be called a torsion spring. part # 1110-122-3200, that part is on the order list at the local shop.

The sparkplug wire, plug clip, and boot seem to all be seperate parts. I will clip the wire to a fresh end and try to re-install the plug clip.

It's not just a saw, it's an adventure.

Hey, if you were that old and had been treated like that, you would have "needs" too.

You have been industrious and found your own path. I think some good rep points are in order here, since you seem to be answering your own questions. That is, unless I'm dead on you, then, "its the thought that counts".

Remember, pictures and descriptions of how it all goes together and runs.

Help comes so quickly here that I forgot to think about it on my own for a minute. Sometimes it workds that way though, talk the problem out loud and the answer smacks you in the head before yer done talking.

Then looked at the clock, still had time to call the shop, they were looking at the same print, that was very helpful, so for the moment things are moving forward, slow, but forward.

Sooo, you want pics of the whole saw?

Oldsaw: What means, "dead on you"?
....Thanks.
