Is there any other Stihl saws, besides the 041G that use a sprocket that has no clutch drum? I found one part# 1119 642 1200. The 642 matches my 090G parts list, but is 1109, I'm confused! Any input appreciated, Mike, Thanks.

The 042/048 have something like that. The spur has no keyway and is notched on the backside to mate to the clutch drum. I think the 028 has something similar. The significant difference from the 090G spur is the absence of a keyway.

Mike.

The 1119 indicates it is for a 038. The 642 indicates it is a sprocket. That part number is NLA and is not the current sprocket number for the 038. The 048 used a sprocket that looked like the 090 gear but was not the same. I believe its number was 1117-642-2000. If you can post a pic that would help. I will try to post a pic of some 090G gears.

Bill that's the info I needed that day. I saw this oddball Stihl sprocket on ebay that I thought it might be an 090G. I did buy it so maybe one day I'll use it. I phoned my Stihl dealer and he said he still had the 090G listed but when he ordered it it came back NLA. I'm going to look in to reproducing one on a CNC set up. There will probably be a minimum # that will make them worth while. BTW the Stihl dealer quoted me $59.00 cad. Thank You Bill.
