I have been cleaning at the shop I used to make my living at. I found 20 foot of new number 25 Sandvik saw chain which has the 1/2 pitch. I know this pitch chain was used on the Homelite Super Wix 66 gear drive chain saws. It also has three repair kits included. I assume this is vintage chain as I have looked and not found any for sale. If anyone is interested let me know other wise I will just find a place to put this old chain.

I'm interested. Is it chipper, semi-chisel, or chisel? I'm not familiar with the Sandvik chain codes. Where are you located? Don't take this personally............but since you just joined today folks will be a bit cautious making a deal with you. People have been burned a few times...

I do understand anyone being afraid to buy from me. I can assure you I do what I say. I listed it on ebay earlier today but removed it because I had listed it wrong.
I live in Alabama.
I was brought up working in a garage as my dad owned his own business. I bought the business in 1979 and got out of the chainsaw business. I did keep a lot of Homelite parts and this chain is one of the many things I have. I retired from working full time almost three years ago. I still have my shop and go there almost everyday. Here is a picture of the chain and to tell you the truth I don't know the difference in type of chains. I do not have a clue what this 20 foot roll of chain is worth and that's why I listed it it inchain 002.JPG chain 004.JPG chain 005.JPG

If anyone is interested please make me an offer. You can PM me or post here. I can supply any information you would need to prove who I am . My name is Tom. I removed it from ebay because I just plain messed up when I uploaded the information. If nobody here is interested then I will relist it tomorrow. Thanks

1/2 pitch 60 gauge chain is what I have. It was ordered back then for the Homelite Super Wiz 55 and 66 chain saws. I put a micrometer on where chain runs in bar and it is .063. I will pass for now on the offer but thanks anyway. It is 1/2 pitch by the way. I am age 67 and remember those saws that run this chain quite well. Tom

I doubled checked. I measured the distance between three rivets and it is one inch. I then divided that by two and it comes to 1/2 inch so yes this is 100% a 1/2 pitch chain. Tom

At one time it came in .050, .058 and .063.

I have some saws that run 1/2 chain and have a stock of it here already but would take some more at the right price. Just don't need it real bad.

I now have the chain listed on ebay.

I understand joining a forum and trying to sell something might raise a red flag so to ebay I go. I have been selling on ebay since 1999 and I think it would work much better by doing this. Thanks and I love this forum. Tom
