I was going to purchase the ported front cover but instead did my own pipe job. A huge improvement over the stock peahole that comes from the factory.
After readjusting the carb, the saw actually "runs like it should". Responsive, crisp throttle. Yes, its my first attempt at a muffler mod and am really happy with the overall results.:hmm3grin2orange:

Looks great man....as long as it helped with the performance thats all that matters.....looks good to me.....i bet it sounds good too.

Neat looking muffler there, should give results. My question is has that saw ever been in wood yet, sure is clean, I mean its spic and span clean, like brand new clean. Looks great.....
