Lumberjack,
You can delete the thread yourself. Just click the edit button, and somewhere (upper right I think) there is a delete check box and button.

Actually, you can't if you are the starter. Posts can be deleted, but not threads.....

We gots this one place; that: seasons, ages, cooks open grill over mostly orange wood(sweet citrus burns hot searing meat juices in immediately like oak, with a flavor ya wouldn't suspect). They do that with a vairety of cuts, my favorite is filet (melts in mouth, more than rest) cooked with Bleu Cheese roasting inside, a house specialty! Servings are about JP approved size wooden tables, even that filet with rich smoked, and seasoned meat juices drizzling down the side, getting tangy with the Bleu Cheese melting together with them... Not a Miss-Take, by any means!

This inablity to delete first post , thus deleting thread(which used to work for me); is what i was testing in Support/Announcements, when someone else mentioned it.

Just rename it "Food for thought" or somethin like that. Me i perfer my steak well done and hangin off the plate. Add a dozen rolls, half a gallon of A1, and a gallon of sweat tea, and let me at it.

Good lord. My friend and I went to that place a month or two ago. Dropped $200 for just the two of us. I'll tell you, that was probably the best steak I have ever had. The meal was worth every penny we spent. I definately recommend the place to anyone who has one near them.

We got for $196

1 Vodka Collins for me
Coat check for him.
I got a lobster tail and an 8oz filet medium well done
He had a probably 14oz rib eye
A potato ogrotten
A shoe string potato (potatos are really good for 1 1/2 people)
A bottle of imported German sparkling water
Creme Brulee
Apple Tart
Couple sodas
Ceasar Salad for each of us
Bread

That was about it I think.

The steak was absolutely amazing. The lobster tail was good too. Butter served on top of the steak... plates come out at 500* in order to keep the food hot. They melted the butter for the lobster tail right in front of us. Service was amazing. They have a wine collection which is pretty impressive.

Definately no "steak well done and hangin off the plate. Add a dozen rolls, half a gallon of A1, and a gallon of sweat tea"

My friend and I went to The Outback Steakhouse a week or so ago. The steak there was dog food compared to the steak we had at Ruths Chris.

I used no sauce on that steak whatsoever.

Definately if you have one nearby, enjoy a good meal, and can swing the $, by all means... GO!
