To me A1 is the stuff, it makes life worth living. Many say that you shouldn' use anything because the insults the cook, well screw the cook, its either me or my dad, and that is how we do it, and it aint bad.

Also most of that A1 goes on the rolls. Feel free to take me to a place where the steak doesn't require A1, or additional flavors, and I will foot the bill.

You're killing me! I've tried Ruth's but there is a place near DC with the original steamboat salad bar and the best steaks around that we go to sometimes, been about 3 years though:(
Best Filet Mignon around, put some fresh horseradish on top , mmmm

We have a Ruths Chris here and a Mortons amoung other snotty places to eat. I'd gladly go there if you are picking up the tab, but for my money I'll take one of those dog food steaks from Outback. I prefer a more relaxed place to eat and where I can have a few more drinks and still not break the bank.

The best meals I've had have been home cooked. Butterflied fried razor clams hot out of the pan followed by big elks steaks or prime rib off the webber. Tarter sauce, cocktail sauce, horseradish, A1 not neccessary but on the table. And lots of microbrews and wine.

To hell with a hunk of meat. I just don't get it.

Cornbread and collard greens,or turnip greens, rutabeger, lima beans, great northern beans, cream corn. Some ham thrown in here and there. Lots of sweet tea with lemon.

Raw oysters twice a week. Puts lead in your pencil they say. :D

Grilled mahi-mahi(dolphin) once a week. Flounder is my favorite.

Hey, living a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico ain't all that bad.

Got milk?:)

Maybe for you, MB. Me I'm 54, and eat no red meat, little white, lots of cold clean deep water Alaskan salmon and other safe fish, If any of you young whippersnappers can keep up with me, you get a gold star, and maybe $300+ a day.

The girlfriend is a Registered Dietician(dietitian) so for 8 long years I have been eating quite well. I'm a buck 60 and if I gain 2-3 pounds I feel thick, I hate it.

I very seldom eat breakfast but do eat lunch. It works for me. Hell, you know what MB, being a ''tricome enthusiast" myself I eat when I'm hungry. later dude

I'm sorry but if you have to put ANY sauce on a steak then its a bad cut of meat that should be promtly thrown at the cook!!! Ruth's Chris does have good food I've eaten there a couple of times as I have a friend who's an assistant manager at the one in Greensboro so I never had to drop that much but it would be worth it unless you have a Texas De Brazil steak house nearby or even better a BugABoo Junction steak house (the only one I've ever seen was in Maine) we ate there a couple times while we were there and it costs about the same as a Texas steak house.

Good steak don't need nutting but cutlery!

Not even that, if no ones looking! :D

At NY NY in Vegas there is a steakhouse in the casino. They have a big refrigerator with glass front holding steaks. There is a sign explaining how they age all their steaks 3 weeks before serving. I'll bet those are good steaks. Maybe next trip...
